Pocono Transportation has been in the business of transporting students since 1936.
In fact, it all began when the founder, Mr. Forrest Peirce, purchased the first school bus for the company. That school bus took children to and from the former Covington Township School District. And the rest is history!
Today we’ve grown into a fleet of 36 school buses, providing transportation to students primarily within the North Pocono School District. We also offer bus services to several other public and private schools throughout the Northeast region of PA. In addition to our standard school buses, we have 10 vans available to cater to students with special needs.

When your child rides with Pocono Transportation, we take care of them as if they’re our own.
We want you to feel comfortable knowing that your family is safe in every way. All of our drivers are required to obtain and hold a Commercial Driver’s License and must maintain up to date driver training. We have an ASE certified Master School Bus Technician on staff, keeping our vehicles in good working order all year round.
We want you to know that we’re following all of the COVID safety guidelines. We care about their health and well-being of each and every individual. Now, more than ever, sanity and safety are top priority. All of our school buses are cleaned and disinfected after each use.
While our buses are mainly used for transportation to and from our local area schools, we also utilize them for group outings and events to all of your desired destinations.
